About the Leadership Summit
This day-long summit is a forum for peer-to-peer sharing about implementation efforts, outcomes and future opportunities for advancing culture change. Though a variety of models and philosophies are guiding these efforts across the continuum of care, what they have in common is far more profound than what sets them apart. Guided by the perspectives of long- and short-term residents, this summit will transcend specific models to get to the heart of culture change through an exploration of tangible strategies for initiating and sustaining a resident-directed, relationship-centered culture.
Many of these strategies—and many more—are captured in the new Long-Term Care Improvement Guide, which will be released at the summit. The Guide is a first of its kind, a compendium of innovations and approaches for culture change that span all models and are relevant across all settings.
