Gail L. Warden, MHA, President Emeritus of the Henry Ford Health System and a longtime member of the Picker Institute board of directors, will be a keynote speaker at the World Congress Leadership Summit on Direct-to-Consumer Marketing Initiatives for Providers Dec. 8-10, 2010, in Boston, Mass.
Warden is an elected member of the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences, serving on its Board of Health Care Services, Committee on Quality Health Care in America, which authored To Err is Human and Crossing the Quality Chasm. He also served two terms on its Governing Council and chairs its Committee on the Future of Emergency Care in the United States Health System. Warden is Chairman Emeritus and Board Member of the National Quality Forum, and the founding Chair of the newly created National Center for Healthcare Leadership. He serves on the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Board of Trustees, where he is an Emeritus Member; the Board of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement; and the RAND Health Board of Advisors.
Mr. Warden’s topic is “Patient Loyalty: Build Customer Retention by Joining the Patient-Centered Care Movement.” He will speak at 10:15 a.m. Friday, Dec. 10.
